watched perfect blue in local odeon the other day for its 4k remaster, i was just over greening out and it made me way more immeresed then i thought i was since weed makes me hella paranoid and i hate it but the movie was fantastic, ill have to give it a rewatch if i wanna make a shrine about it because the weed gave me brain fog on id say 30% of the movie. what i can say for now is tje story as it goes on is otherworldly, it messes with you in ways ive seen befpre but not in this way, you constantly ask yopursself is this real or is that... for example when the rape scene at the stage is supposedly just an act but then the movie says no that was all real and she is imagining its all an act but its actually the ugly dude raping her but then you think the exact oppisite minutes later!!! this switchinh happens a couple times . The art and animation was great, but its so good you dont really think about it unlike the voice acting and music, theres a point near the end of the film where rumi screams in pain and despite the weed inhancing that scream it was so real, it felt like i was actually seeing someone scream in pain infront of my eyes. the music was great especially this track (link it here), the suspense of the eerie choir gives me chills and its use in the film is perfect riguhoregihaprigh peirjgpejra bro its so good just watch it nigga. Watxhed it wit my brother and enjoyed my time with him alot..... next time im not going odeon tho cus in total for two popcorns medium, med drink and ticket in total costed about 60€ WHICH IS EXTORTIONATRE whoops caps, whgatecer, a cool website is (art website) thjat has art from the making of the film and other films and shows if you wanna lurk through it
